Donna-Love, You Will Be Profoundly Missed
It is with a great deal of sadness the Nell’s Family shares the passing of one of our own, Donna Entwistle. Donna had been one of the Nell’s Girls since 2011, where she came to lend a hand to grow the business during our Mastectomy Boutique expansion. Donna wanted Nell’s to be a success and helped in any way she could from painting walls, to assisting where needed. This included organizing paperwork and sending correspondence to doctors and guests. She would offer her seamstress talents when boutique guests would need any customization. Donna also took on the special roll of caregiver to her “little man”, Joey, so he wouldn’t have to stay at Mom’s work all night. This allowed him to finish his studies, play “Boujee” on the couch and watch some of their favorite shows, Chuggington, Wild Kratts and Paw Patrol.
As Nell’s grew and became Medicare accredited, Donna was the leading force to make sure we were organized and compliant. She had the elite organizational skills needed to make sure we were ready for any surprise accreditation visits. As guest billing increased, Donna offered to learn a new job and became Nell’s Billing Director and Compliance Officer. Her meticulous and creative mind gave us the best system of cross checks ensuring that each claim was processed correctly and accurately.
Donna loved our guests and fought endlessly with insurance companies to process their claim correctly. When she had time, she would step out of the office to assist with a walk-in or just to say Hello! She loved when guests would complement the paintings and murals in the shop as they were created by her daughter, Taylor.
We are deeply honored to have been a part of Donna’s life. She will always be one of our first Nell’s Girls.
Donna-Love, you will be profoundly missed.
